Im not so happy at my current job.. Just curious how everyone else feels?

Love it...most of the time. I did go though a period where I wondered if I could still do this in my 60's (I teach elementary music) but I think I was going through that 'I'm no longer the new teacher or the person getting married' crash. Now I'm loving my job again. It's fun! Maddening at times but fun.
I'm sure once I go away to have a baby and come back I'll hate it.

I love my job.. my co-workers can be dumb sometimes, but they are really good hearted people and I love my boss.. she's like the mom!! The hours are great, we are flexible with our schedules.. Even the members that I deal with are pretty decent!! I am really happy there

I honestly dont like my job that much but its not what I want to do for the rest of my life. I went to school to be a speech teacher and Im still working towards that but for right now I need something to pay the bills...

I actually love my job! I just started last week as a leave replacement teacher for a kindergarten class that will last until the end of the school year. Of course since I just started so I haven't been there long enough to find a lot of things to complain about, but so far I'm enjoying it! It's not going to last very long anyway though. By the end of June I will be jobless again except for being on the sub. list.

I really do love my job...at times I complain A LOT- but ultimately I really do love what I do (im a teacher in the south bronx)

I love my occupation. I love my students. I like the school I am at. The main negative is it is quite a long drive.

i said hate because this year has been pure torture for me.
im a teacher and in teh past i have loved my job but this year i swear they bred my kids from the inmates at rikers - ~>here's the part i LOVE!!! 30 more days and i get a the whole summer off and a fresh start in spetember, not to mention all the breaks i get throughout teh school year too!

I don't know how I feel about my job. . .I am a speech teacher in a great LI district. The only problem is. . .I commute an 1hr. and 15 min. to work and the same home. Traffic S*cks!! The other thing that I am not crazy about is, my district has a large Jewish population which is not the problem. A lot of the kids from the district go to private yeshivas. Since there are so many students in the yeshivas that need services I was pulled from the public schools and placed fully in the yeshivas. I travel btw. 3 schools now. There are some pros. . .I don't have administration breathing down my neck, but on the other side of it I don't have any other teachers to talk to. I miss that.
I also, wear skirts everyday so I don't feel out of place and to respect their religion.I thought I was doing a good job until the school psychologist told me that the Rabbi's would like me to start wearing shirts that cover my chest. I never wore anything that showed cleavage or anything else. It's so annoying. I look so dorky now when I go to work. According to my directors I don't need to wear skirts or cover my chest b/c I work for the district not the yeshiva. Easy for them say, they don't have to go in there everyday and get stared down by the Rabbis in disgust.

I love my job. I am a teacher too and found a school that I am happy with. Its always a hit or miss as to whether you will be happy in the school that hires you. The pay is just depressing. Not very good.

I like my job okay for now... it's highly stressful - I'm a project manager for a corporate furniture dealership so I basically run a project from inception/design concept to final move in - specifying, ordering, and managing the installation. It's so easy to make mistakes, and they can be extremely costly. You're basically always living in fear that you might have missed one digit on a model # or paint color #. I'm pretty good at my job and they like me - the money is decent - my coworkers are absolutely great. I will hang in there for a while... although they have started lay offs which is kind of scary.

every jobs has its ups and downs but I can honestly say I LOVE my job now. Last year- not so much.

same here.. I complain quite often- because my students this year are TERRIBLE- but I do love my *occupation*.. I will be working with different students this summer & then I will get a fresh start next year

LOVE my job
I own my own business with my family. I am my own boss, what's better than that?
I get to be creative on a daily basis. I get to help turn people's visions into a reality. Most of the time I am working with people who are celebrating a happy occasion in their lives.
My commute is less than 15 minutes.
The hours are long, and can be completely exhausting at times. It can take over your whole life when you aren't looking. And some people are hard to please.
But there are few things in life as rewarding as working for yourself, and I am blessed to have this opportunity. I wouldn't trade it for anything.
