Re: How do you feel toward the people who did not even send a card?

I have a work friend who couldn't come - so although it would be nice to send a card - you don't have to. But, she TWICE has asked me for my address so she could send a gift - her words, not mine. She still hasn't - why say anything? It just makes you look stupid.
One of my cousins did this too!

I don't mind the people that didn't come to the wedding and didn't send cards. What I do mind is the people that CAME to the wedding and didn't give us one! I still can't believe that actually happened!

ditto! My INLAWS didn't give us a card! (or a gift but we won't go there...)

MINE EITHER! WE ARE 'SNUBBED BY THE INLAWS' TWINS!

Re: How do you feel toward the people who did not even send a card?

Oh man....

I had a few co-workers that wouldn't come, but I've always thought it was a privledge to be invited to someone's wedding. Some of them didn't even send a card...not even well wishes in the response card!!! One of them was my supervisor!!! (Who I introduced her to her boyfriend that she now lives with!)

After being really offended, I realized that these people are not worth my time to even think about. They are classless and tacky! I have let it go thinking, what goes around comes around!

Now that I no longer work there, I'm glad I do not have a fake card from their snotty Arse's...

As far as 2 other of DH's 'friends' who ASKED to come... they came w/ no card- we've just pulled the ax on them. They're no friends of ours- classless and tacky.

I'm sorry this happened to you too.

Re: How do you feel toward the people who did not even send a card?

I got really stiffed by tons of DH's family, I let it go because I knew DH was completely embarrassed by this behavior. BIL eloped, and I sent him a card with 200. BIL did not give a thing, neither did DH's aunts or cousins. It was hard not to talk about them, but it would only bring DH down, and I always say I am glad we had such a good turn out on both sides of the church. YOu have to let it all go

Most of our friends that did not come with a card are no longer our friends.
