i had my ears pierced at a young age .... i honestly don't remember how old i was. one of the nurses at my pediatrician did it.

I did and I plan to do it if I have a . I survived and I think it looks adorable. But I can def. see people having issues with it. My SIL feels like she can't do it to her daughter because she feels like she can't watch some inflict pain on her baby girl. She wants to have them done, just can't bring herself to do it.

my mother had mine done when i was a few weeks old

so now my 1st holes are up too high and look so stupid.. i hate them.. so i got them redone, but you can still see them

i have not gotten DD's pierced.. i want it to be a decision SHE makes for herself. i think baby girls look adorable with them though

I had to fight my Dad to get my ears pierced at 13!!! He thought of it as body mutilation & 'barbaric'...my Mom didn't have pierced ears so we went & did it together...it was a nice bonding thing so i am glad it happened how it did.

My ears were pierced when I as little, i want to say they were done basically as soon as it was ok to have them done.

i had mine done at 4 weeks old and now i have them stretched out to 1 inch holes

I had mine pierced when i was about 4 years old...i still remember how badly it hurt!

me and one of my friends (who was actually in our BP )had our ears pierced together after we graduated kindergarten -- still remember it to this day my first earings were stars and she got hearts.

I think it's cute on babies -- but like someone said I'd worry about the placement of the earrings later on in life as your body changes as you grow

My ears were pierced when I was a baby. Ill probably do the same to my kid when I have one.

I had them done when I was very little (like 1) I dont remember it and I think that when you wait till a kid gets older she gets scared and wont want to do it. I think my cousin was 16 before I was actually able to convince her to get hers done

my parents told me my ears were done when i was 4 months old. i will do the same for my daughter around that age. i think they remember it when it's done at an older age.

I was three when Ihad my ears pierced (don't remember it).....

and i don't see anything wrong with people piercing their babies ears (no clue what I'lll do when and if I ever have a girl )
