Ok I will admit where we are bad:

recycling (we never got bins from our town and tried to go pick them up but never succeeded...any help here?)

plastic water bottles - we still buy them....but I refill mine several times a day.
What do you guys drink out of?

AS FOR GOOD THINGS:

We keep our heat low and even lower during the day

Wash in cold water

I dont have a car and take the bus to work

Reuse towels all week. Rewear clothes when I can (but not gym clothes)

We still buy the plastic water bottles too but I use mine for two weeks, then recycle (I take a big bottle to work each day). In the house we use Brita though.
Hmmm...as far as the bins for recycling did you try to call your town?
When I moved in with DH I noticed that he had the town bin for plastics and glass but just an ordinary bin for the paper. They always pick up the paper...Maybe you could just use any large-sized bin?
