I voted a 8-9. Relationship wise definatly a 10 if we didnt work so well together -gosh the number would be low-lol

I need improvement in these areas:

1.Getting a better control of finances so we could really put a timeline on when to get a house
2.Getting back to school for my Master's
3. Getting back in shape- which I started working on

This past year has taught me & DH a whole new perspective of happiness. I can honestly say that this is probably the happiest i've ever been...and not because things are always going our way, or because we have no stresses, but mainly because we've learned that money isn't everything, success isn't everything, & to have people in your life that love you is really all that matters. And i dont mean that to sound cliche..it really is the truth. This past year is the first time DH & I faced major financial difficulty, stresses with a few people we cared about, career paths etc....but at the end of the day we are so happy that God has blessed us with an amazing relationship, amazing family & amazing friends REGARDLESS of what stresses came & went. Regardless of what we're going through - to know we have a God & people that love us no matter what & are here for us no matter what, is all we can ask for aside from the amazing love we have to each other...and it's a cool thing that we've been able to keep our worldly stresses out of our marraige. We've learned what faith is, hard work is, and real happiness is. Because lord knows it's easy to feel happy when u've got everything working out - but it's when ur faith is tested that shows u real life & how u have to handle it & press forward. So at the end of the day, to be able to hold our heads high & say 'it's okay because we have life & love to look forward too' is all that we need. Not meaning any of this to sound super cheesy lol...i really mean all of this from the bottom of my heart

thanks! Its all his job related, and its a huge step, and its going to make us set, for the rest of time, its just a very hard process in the begining, but we do have to just smack each other and just stop letting the crap bother us so much, and look at life for the bigger picture that it is, and know it does get better.

Heather i totally know what ur going through....DH opened his own company right after we got married and it's been a LOT of hard work...u just have to remind urself that things work itself out if u work hard enough ...and in years from know u can look at where u started, and where ur at at that point & be really proud of how far u've come...just dont' let it hinder ur relationship! support each other & love each other no matter what 'cause at the end of the day it's all u've got Feel free to FM me anytime if u're feeling stressed!

After quite the adjustment period- I am 100% happy in my marriage!!!

However, we are going through a rough time- job related-right now!! I'm also very anxious to finally MOVE!!! I think that once we move to NC and we're settled in then I will be a big fat 10 in all aspects of life!!!

I'd say I am at about an 7. Things relationship wise are great, we both have a great family and friends and a successful career. We are trying to buy an apt in NYC (a near impossible feat it seems) and having some issues with my health that have put a damper on things a bit, but I know everythign will work out in the end.

am i the only person who finds its really hard for me to answer about happiness on a 1-10 quantitative scale? Seems like a more qualitative thing....

I feel very blessed...w/ DH, my family, my new church family/community group. Im very thankful for how the Lord is working in my life. We also have sorrows too- financial things, DS living w/ his mom far away, my health issues...but the Lord's been faithful in carrying us through those trials as well.

I guess if i had to..id say a...9?

I say 8... I HATE that I'm a work-a-holic, but the flip side is that we are ok financially between the both of us...
I also am constantly worried about everyone's health

aside from that, Im a pig in sh!t Love my family, friends, and best of all- new life

I would say 8-9.

I am Super happy with DH...thats def. a 10+ but with other things in my life I am around 7 or 8.

Job, for instance. I got my BA in speech pathology and Im finding it so difficult to get anywhere with just a BA. Obtaining a license is difficult and getting into a Masters program is even more difficult. and now that I am married and have bills its even harder to manager. So Im stuck at a dead end job working at a pet store and I just had an interview today at an animal hospital to be a receptionist (which ive done already)..pay is a bit better but its still not what I want.....

and sometimes I just dont know what to do...
I feel like Im never going to get out of this
Ok...thats enough I guess.

I am very, very happy right now in the marriage and relationship dept. I love my DH dearly but career wise that is another story. I am very upset with my job after what they are doing to me and it is too much stress to take. I think I will be happy if I go back to where I am happy occupation wise which is accounting. But I am glad DH is here to listen to me, make me laugh and have a shoulder to cry on. But other than that I am 70% happy with where I am. and hoping for 100% in the next few months.

I would say I am a 9 right now. I love my life with DH and would consider that a 10, but my job is more like an 8 due to excessive colleague gossiping and long commute and 8 due to our place of residence (Albany, NY). While I love the area we live in, I really wish we lived closer to our families.

have never been happier!! love DH and finally living together and ejoying our lives together - love coming home to eachother and having time to enjoy one another. . I'd have to say I'm about an 8 or a 9 -- only because of my current job and financial situation. We can't wait to have enough $$ to buy our first home and then we'll be ready to TTC.

you know DH and i are habving a really tuff time right now with him being sick and all but you know what i feel like we are happier then ever! everything has brought us even closer and we are enjoying life so much more we live for the moment and ejoy every minute we have together. i finally got my job i wanted and DH and i are living nice right now no we dont have a house we thats ok cause we feel good about the way things are right now. im def a 10 on how happy i am!! i am just so thankful for everything we have!!!
