i have 3 sister in laws
my brothers wife- well we use to be close, but now it seems like she doesnt like me, she doesnt acknowledge me really..barely returns texts, doesnt acknowlege me of facebook, i know its just facebook, but when she writes on her sister-in-laws page, saying happy birthday to my fave sister in law, when clearly i would see it, and then i would write to her and she doesnt respond. for instance...yesterday was her first mothers day... i wrote happy mothers day on her facebook page, and so did a bunch of other people, i looked back on her page and noticed on everyone elses but mine she commented on the post, by saying thank you, completely skipped over mine!
and DH's brothers wife, well i dont think she likes me very much either! could be because i mentioned something to DH about how i dont like that she doesnt ever wann come to ny to be part of our lives and doesnt include us when she has people over...and i guess DH mentioned something to his brother, and obvi he mentioned something to her...
i dont know my familly is completely different than his and my family always included everyone for everything even if someone wouldnt be able to make it. we are in ny, they are in jersey, and i cant tell you how many times we drive to jersey for this and that, 4 out of 4 times we invited her and his brother over, his brother came by himself!
and apparently they had everyone over their house on saturday for a mothers day dinner, his other brother was there, we didnt even get a call to inform us.
and my 3rd sister in law is DH's 7 year old sister!
love her to death and and least she likes me!
