We both reallyneed to establish ourselves career wise, so not for 2-3 years...we'd love to start now, but we can't give a baby our all right now.

Re: How long?

We got married at 23 so we were in no big rush but we knew we would have to move 3x's across the country in the first year and 1/2 so we waited until we were settled and in a house. We bought our home in April04 and my husband came back in June04 and now we are due in May 05.

We found out we were pregnant right around our two year anniversary and we will both be 26 by time the baby is born and we will not be moving unless it is by our choice for another 5 years so we couldn't be happier.

We're waiting until we own our own home or my biological clock starts ticking, whichever comes first!

Re: How long?

In my perfect world, we would be having one tomorrow. But in the real world, we'll probably be waiting another year until we start trying. We want to have a house first and I want a better job before we bring a baby into this world!!! Like my mom keeps telling me every time I go to her house and say I want a baby, Good things come to those who wait. So Here I am waiting for all those good things to come!!

Re: How long?

I was married at 23, and it probably won't happen till 33, so 10 years!!! lol. That means it will be me and DH for a total of 17 years just the two of us. DH and I are in no rush, we feel like once you do it, it is forever, we can travel now, and love it being the two of us, then bring our babies into our lives. We talk about our kids all the time, like they are really here. Dh is the oldest child, and I am oldest of 7, I think I am done with the baby stage for a little while.

Re: How long?

DH and I planned to wait 2yrs when he graduated law school, but God had something else in mind for us. It was a complete shock, but we'll be expecting our first child May 2005.

Our wedding was in September and we are going to try to start next year...
