How long....

did you wait to cash your wedding checks?

I gave 2 checks for 2 weddings one on June 19th and one July 3rd....the July one was cashed but the June one hasn't. It's almost been a month.

DH and I deposited our checks in the ATM the day after.

We got married on Saturday and deposited them on Tuesday... only because the bank was closed Sunday & Monday lol.

we deposited cash/checks on Tues wedding was Sat. night. Mon was Pres. day so banks were closed. : )

We deposited them the next morning. I would wait another month and then let them know that they haven't cashed it yet...just in case it was lost.

had my mom deposit some while we were on honeymoon and the rest waited until we came back, so those waited a lil over 2 weeks

See I could see this but they went on their honeymoon and have been back for over a week b/c I spoke w/ her.

Mine were cashed the very next day! We left for our HM the day after our wedding so we were ghetto and opened all our cards on the plane... and then deposited all in miami before we boarded our cruise LOL

We got married on a Friday, deposited the cash on Saturday. We didn't have time to open the bank account jointly before the wedding with everything going on...so I didn't deposit all the checks til we got back from our HM (17 days) and finished out that work week which was 3 weeks later...

I got emails from people asking if we lost their check.
