The dress is still sitting in my mom's closet in the bag we picked it up in. I think I want to get it preserved...how long before it turns and how much $$ does it cost to do it? thanks!
BUT--does anyone else still unzip the bag and look at the dress?? I do it every time I go to my mom's just to 'visit' it. Hee hee

my mom's dress was preserved for 30 years and looked as good as new when I took it out of the box. Not sure about the cost.

Well mine has been in the bag not preserved for 2 years and it is still white..so you have some time!

I don't know. I've gotten mine cleaned an preserved in a acid-free box. I believe that if you get it preserved it should last indefinitely.

You have time. I just got mine cleaned (its been 6 mos.) and was $135 at my dry cleaner.
