How long beforehand did you start to plan your wedding?
I started planning in Oct of last year......Got married in April.

We got engaged in Oct and starting planning in Nov for our July wedding.
8 MONTHS!
It was hard b/c I was living in NC, so I made many trips up here and did all I could while I was here!! Def a stressful time!

We were engaged 9 months before our wedding... but didn't really start planning for another month or so...

I started when I got engaged in August, for my wedding 6 months later, in February. It was more than enough time for me.
It definitely got stressful at times though....in those same 6 months we looked for, found, bought, and moved into a new house.
But now that we're settled....I'm soooo glad we did it all and got it done.

Engaged at Midnight on New Years 2005 Started planning about 2 months later so March 2005 Married.....May 2007
2 1/2 years-actually 5 days short of that...but it was sooo long and so worth it -i had time to really take in the whole wedding thing

We got engaged in Feb.05, and we would have started planning right away, but everyone kept telling us to hold off. We started in April 05, and got married Oct. 06 so 18 months.

We were enaged in November '06. I ordered my dress and booked a hall right away then didn't really do anything until mid-January. We took the laid back approach. We basically had it all planned in 2 months (by we I mean I )

same with me!! except, we got engaged the last week in aug and got married the first week in sept, so we had just over a year. but, i think i personally kept jet blue in business this year, with all of the trips between AZ & NY! i'm SO glad that's over. even though it allowed me to go home more often, it was a lot of extra money and a lot of extra stress!
