How long did it take you to get used to your married name?

I just wrote my new name to be and i don't know how i am gonna get used to it! LOL

About 8 monthsand still getting use to it. It has been very difficult for me for a lot of reasons. I find myself avoiding saying it out loud - it is so weird. Everytime I have to sign my name I have to think first. Everytime I say my name I have to think. It is so hard.

I changed it most everywhere except professionally. So I am still hanging on to it.....as long as I can!

I got my birthday cards yesterday addressed to my new last name and I stared at it b/c it still so foreign to me even though I love my new last name. Anyway its been 6 months and I am finally getting around to changing it slowly but surely.
