How long did your rhearsal take?

Hey,

I wanted to know how long does it take to go through the rhearsal. Tentatively, my rhearsal is scheduled for 7 or 7:30pm. FH and I are planning to throw a BBQ afterwards at my uncle's house and I was wondering if 9pm would be too early to start. I already think 9pm is kind of late but I don't think the church can get us in any earlier in the evening due to 5pm mass. In addition, if we go in the afternoon, then people might have to take off from work and we were trying to avoid that.

Oh my rheasal is on a Friday night and my wedding is on a Sunday afternoon. I'm getting married in a Catholic Church and I'm not doing a full mass. Please Help!!:ahh

Re: How lond did your rhearsal take?

The rehearsal is basically showing everyone how to walk in and walk out. Ours took about 30 mins, but then again you have to be concerned with people not showing up on time and such.

Re: How long did your rhearsal take?

Ours was about 30 minutes. I was at one that took almost an hour but it was because no one was paying attention and we were all joking around.

Re: How long did your rhearsal take?

Mine was only about 15-20 minutes. I guess it depends on how big your bridal party is and how far away from the church your uncle's house is.
