What's the appropriate amount of time to have your thank you's out by?

4-6 months but I think 6 months is a long tine if it can be done in 3 that is my goal
We didn't get our pics for the TY until 3 months. I also had 225 TY's to write, and I wrote a novel in each one! So it took me close to 2 months to get them all written.

I have been married 2 months and I plan to do them in the next month or so. My guest should have them by the 3 1/2 month mark

I didn't see my pictures/pick a picture until March. My side when out in early May. However, DH's thanks you's are just about half way done. He's taking forever and he insists on doing them all!

Wedding was 3/30 and we sent out most of them today 6/14 But we did not get back from the honeymoon until 4/17 so we got a sort of pass from most guests (except my mom who started asking if we sent them out weeks ago).

within 6 months. i wanted to do them on our honeymoon but we didnt get the cards from the photographer til the pictures were ready and i took forever to pick out a picture
