I'm sad because only 118 are coming out of the 186 that I invited. I feel like my room is going to be so empty. And what if people go out to smoke no one will be left in the room. Am I being ridiculous? Someone please make me feel better

Oh don't worry- I had 150 people out of 225 invited (a lot of people were from out of town and they were courtesy invites)... in a room for 500! and it didn't look empty, don't worry- it will be perfect.

Sweetie, once everyone is up and dancing you will not notice anyone that is missing. I promise you. We invited about 165 and we had 148 people. As long as the people that come are out to have a good time, you will have fun and they will have fun.

We had 150 out of 200 - I wouldn't be worried. Many guests at my wedding hung out outside (to smoke, etc.) and you really didn't notice -

Actual attended: 165 including us.
Don't worry that is a good number....the room won't be empty and it leaves you more time with close friends and family.

114 came, and the place was filled nicely from beginning to end! We had an outside deck for smokers, but we really don't have too many in the family.

200 / 225. IMO - smaller would've been a little nicer... less people to greet. Unfortunately I have a huge family and so does dh so that wasn't about to happen. You'll be fine!

We had 112 out of 195 invited. Our room did not look empty at all! In fact, it was nice for the guests not to be crowded at all! Don't worry about it!

We had 225 out of 305 invited. I was happier there were less people - I don't know what I would have done with all the extra people.

We had approx. 250 people at our wedding....small compared to most greek weddings.

We had 130ish out of 185. It was fine!! The tables had space around them so it was easy for everyone to move around and we had a bigger dance floor!!! Don't worry about it, it's going to be wonderful!!!!

We invited 150 and 100 came. Don't worry 118 is plenty!!! It'll be perfect no matter how many people show up!!!
