One couple had a good excuse- DH's cousin found out her DH was cheating on her the night before!! They weren't even married a year!

We didn't have any...but a few last minute cancellations days before...all understandable.
That stinks for your DHs cousin!!!

3 no-shows
1 had a good excuse. A close family member in Florida was in ICU and she had to fly down there. Completely understandable. What is not completely understandable was that she never responded to my email asking her how her family member was Anyways, I let me little brother invite his friend in her place so someone could enjoy the meal.
2 did not have a good excuse. I invited an entire family and everyone came except the son and his gf. Please understand that I have known him his entire life and he is 21 years old. Apparently, his gf couldn't make it at the last minute because she had to go to Boston and then since she was not going, he didn't go. Please note that his entire family (mom, dad, and 3 sisters) were all going, so it is not as though he would not know anyone. This one really annoyed me.

1 person's date cancelled at the last min.
the other 6 were from the same family and had a real emergency but sent gifts anyway.

One couple but within two weeks had a few that no longer could make it (one was due to death in family, other operation, etc.)

and about 5 people said they were brining dates and didn't!
W T F .. I was pretty pissed... becuase we had to pay over $1,000 for people I didn't even know who didn't show up... I was a little PO'd! I would have much rather to invite people I knew...

We had 3. 1 was my uncle who is elderly and in good health. He just likes to be alone. I was soo mad. He did come to the church, but never came to congratulate us. The other was a couple, my brother's best friends. He knows them for 35 years and he still hasn't heard why they didn't show. I think its rather odd that he hasn't called him.

5. Only two had a good excuse. It's a good thing I haven't seen the other 3 since the wedding- I'm still pissed. No apology= I don't forgive you.

UGH! I don't even like to think about it!!!!! I'd say....maybe 15-20! Sad! ALL from DH's side!!!!!
