How many of you actually...

ate your wedding cake on your first anniversary? Ours is coming up and I'm not so sure about this LOL

We slowly started digging into ours when we came back from our HM - about two weeks after the wedding.

Same here... we are going to order a smaller version of our wedding cake (from the same bakery) for our first anniversary instead. I wasn't crazy about the idea of eating year-old cake to begin with

we had the whole top of the cake, so we kept picking at it for a few weeks! We left a small piece and our anni. is in two weeks! I'm definitely going to try it, I freakin love cake

Wer saved ours, but there was a ice slick on top so i can only imagine how aweful it would taste.

we couldnt save ours since it was icecream and it would have melted on the ride back home-

my mom was SUPPOSED to save 2 of our cupcake favors and freeze them for us to eat on our anniversary......but she forgot and ate them herself instead for breakfast the next day

so instead we saved a bottle of each wine that was served at our wedding and we're going to crack one open on our anniversary and drink it

We ate it the day after opening up envelopes! It was so delicious and all that money made it even more tasty!

i plan to. We barely got to eat it on our wedding day, since we were served icecream before hand and filled up on that instead. lol. (me & dh are not 'cake' people tho anyway). But I definitely LOVE the tradition on having it on your 1 year anniversary! Hopefully it's edible
