How many of you professionally framed your big enlargement???

How many of you professionally framed your big enlargement???

It is like $200.00 to get a 16x20 done at Michaels.

I can easily buy a cheap frame, but so many people told me it's better to get it professionally done.

What did you do??

We didnt have a huge enlargement due to the fact our formals ****** and only 1 or two were worthy of framing but we went to Michaels and just bought a ncie frame. Or was it LinensnN Things?

I forget but it looks fine. Its on opur photo wall. I'll take a pic if you want to see it. I posted it once before.

i plan on doing it myself. I don't see the point of paying all that extra. But I want a matte, and if its a non normal size i think you have to.

We plan on getting it professionally framed. We already did our Ketubah and loved how they did it..so we'll be back to do our enlargement.

I am liking the metalic even though all photographes say don't do it. I really really want it though.

We will do our two 8x10 enlargements ourselves, but I am going to have our favorite shots done in a 5x7 print and then have two of those professionally matted/framed with our invitation.

we haven't even picked ours! i don't think we'll have them framed professionally though - too pricey & we still have things we need to buy for our home and i'm hoping to find nice frames for them.

I had my photog give us a seperate 11x14 enlargement and the deal was that he would do that and frame it for 130. Does your photog have a better deal? Also check Michaels and AC Moore ads-I think they have $$ off of custom framing.

Alot of times Michael's has a coupon for 50% off custom framing orders.

I framed our enlargement myself. Got a great frame at Kohls on clerence that already has a matte. It looks really nice, plus it was super cheap!

i will frame mine myself.. our enlargement is a 11x14, so its not that big. i can use that extra cash for something else i really need... like for the baby!!

i was going to say the same..

kohls has great frames for cheap!! i would check there as well before spending all that $$ to get it professionally done..

yes we got our professionally done! and i cant wait to see it!

it was very expensive!!! my 11x14 came out to $380.-i went to a framing store in the city so keep in mind the inflated city price.
It's going to be a gift from my MOH and bm.
we decided amongst us three to do that as our wedding gifts instead of money.

I cant wait!!! im so excited!
