5 people but they gave us cards with the amount they would have given us if they came.

Three didn't show (Two of which were 'and guests'). There were also two others who left right after the cocktail hour.

We had 2 people say they were bringing guests and ended up coming alone. One of those people told us two days before, but by then it was too late to do much about it

Somewhere between 0-3. We had 3 maybe, who turned into No's. But we have only paid for 2 of them, and even then, another couple brought their 2 kids, so we're even.

1 was the husband of a guest that came and she said that he hurt his foot..

the other guy came to the Church then never showed up at the reception.

We had one couple not show because the wife was ill. She called me that morning and it was legit : ).

We had one show up without a guest and I think thats it.

My aunt and uncle originally said no because my uncle couldn't get the day off from work, but called me a couple of days before the wedding to say that he finally got the day off (I knew that he was trying to get the day off, so I was OK about the last minute addition). They showed up at the ceremony but left during cocktail hour. My mom was so ****ed because my grandmother (who was my mother's and aunt's mother) was dying and knew that this would be the last time that many of us would see her alive. My aunt and uncle barely talked with my grandmother and left without saying goodbye. She died two days later and now my aunt has to live with this guilt!

8 people didn't show up. One couple sent us a gift. The rest - no explanation, no card, no gift.

150 responded yes out of 230 (some were last minute invites like 2-3 weeks before the wedding). We had 10 no shows which means we had 140 attend.

We had 4, but they all gave us something. My cousin and her husband couldn't come because me aunt was really sick and in the hospital and they didn't want to tell me how bad she was b/c they didn't want to spoil my day. She passed away shortly after my HM.

The other couple - no explanation...

Two couples, both relatives.

One was very ill and in the hospital. Excusable.

The other one had a less valid 'excuse.'

The first sent a check that covered the couple and the some.

The second sent a check that didn't even cover their plates.

Not for anything, but we're talking about RELATIVES here.

Oh well.....
