How many proofs?

Hi ladies, hope you don't mind me intruding on your board to ask a question. I am currently looking for my photographer and was wondering how many proofs you all got. I am trying to figure out what is average, I have heard everything from 200 to 1200.

Edited to say: If you don't mind, can you also tell me who your photograher was?

of my 606, MANY of them were of the same shot, but he wanted to make sure at least one of each of the important shots were good enough for the album - so I agree - 300 would be plenty...

I got at least 600 pictures (many were the same shot). I had three boxes... I used Fine Art and was pretty happy with them.

I can't believe how many of you know the exact number. I am going to figure that out myself, now!

I got just over 1000...but only 600 was in my contract...he went a little crazy taking pictures, I guess...no charge for the extras

I had 418 with one photographer and also wish I had more. I am curious if the rest of you had one or two photographers?

I havent counted but over 1500. Our photographers were Jodi and Lynn from Mark Kauffman studios.

I love so many of them - I wish I had even more!

We got a little over 500 but there were a lot of multiple shots (7 or 8 of us with my grandmother). Paul Marino was our photographer.

We got over 600. The thing is all these pics I have the hardest time picking pics for the album. Stef how on earthy will you do it from 1500?
