I had 2 dozen lavendar and creme color roses. Mostly creme color.

gosh sometimes i feel like the black sheep, i never really cared to know so much detail. you girls know so much about every little detail of your weddings ! everything turned out great and I was pretty much a happy camper. I never even thought about how many roses were in my bouquet

I haven't a clue... I also had stephanotis, violets, and a few other flowers I can't recall. It was pretty, but I guess that description doesn't help you.

Anna You are so cute! Don't feel bad...the ONLY reason that I know is b/c I re-created my bouquet using silk flowers, and I wanted to make the same size/shape, so I counted the roses as I pulled them out of the original arrangement.

anna - you are not the black sheep. I know many girls are interested in that but when I was planning I never asked. I just gave some sample pictures of what I liked and that was it.
jenn- sorry I wasn't much help...lemme go check my pictures and maybe I can get back to ya! Edited: It look slike about 3 dozen as well with a few pretty filler flowers!

Umm, not sure either. I had yellow roses, burgundy roses and black magic roses but I didn't want that to be the focus of my bouquet. That is why I had sunflowers, stephanotis, and ivy thrown in. Are you doing all roses Jenn?

I really don't know either. Everything I had bouquet wise was small and minimal (of course, at my wanting). I think my bouquet had 2 dozen and each of the bridesmaids had 8-12. I had stephanotis in mine as well, and the bridesmaids bouquets had hydrangea and other flowers in them as well.

I only had a few, because I had an arm bouquet of calla lillies, and stephanotis with pearls. I had about 4-5 pink roses to compliment my BM's bouquets.

I remember that I had that stephanotis stuff too, because I thought it was such a cute word, and I was excited to have learned a new word about flowers !! I felt like an expert ! I had little small purple-ish flowers within the roses to go with my bridal party's plum dresses. and i had the little pearly things. Is the stephanotis the white flower w the pearl in the center ? I'll try to get a picture !

I never counted...but right before my wedding I had a floral fight about how large my bouquet should be. They said about 8 inches which I thought to be too small and I fought to have a 10-12 in bouquet. I was very glad I did because I think my bouquet was just right for my frame - anything smaller would have looked out of proportion.
So the point of my ranting is: Dont worry how many stems are in your bouquet but instead how large in diameter it will be. The reason being, some roses are 2 inches wide, some are 6 inches wide. If you have lots of stems included but they are small - that doesnt help you and vice versa.
I THINK I had about 3 dozen roses (3 different kinds) with about 8 mini callas added in. But Im not sure exactly.

I never specified how many roses I wanted, just said make it nice and tight and proportionate to my body. The day of my wedding I kinda counted because I was in awe of how many roses were in my bouquet...I think it was about 60 or so! And my bouquet wasn't even that huge...

I think I had about 50 roses in mine too. They were tightly packed together, so I was amazed at how light it was.
