I had about 40 in my bouquet. I tried to preserve it but it didn't work. I'm actually considering having another one made and getting it preserved professionally. Do you think I'm crazy?

I think I had about 18-24 roses, 6 calla lilies and 4 cymbidium orchids. It was HEAVY. The roses were huge.

Kelly, I don't think you're crazy for wanting to get another bouquet made and preserve it. I considered doing that too, but I decided against it.
Instead, I made my own silk replica of the bouquet. It came out great! I'll have to take a pic and post for you. But, if you're not into doing it yourself, you could ask your florist to make it for you. Just an idea.
Also, I kept the dried flowers from my 'real' bouquet, and I'm going to make a potpourri out of them once we move into our house.

Sorry, but don't remember and didn't get the chance to count it. I'd probably had about 30 champagne roses and 10 or 20 stephanisotis and white stock flowers. It was a beautiful bouquet, see photo:
Kelly - I dont think you are crazy at all! If I had the money, I would get a bouquet of flowers that looked just like my bridal bouqet delivered to my house every week!!! But one word of caution: personally, i dont think preserved bouquets look that great when completely done - so before you go to the expense of having it remade, you may want to see a preserved bouquet upclose and make sure its something you want to display.
Otherwise, Clauds idea of having it remade with silks is a great idea if you are ok with fake flowers.

Kelly I preserved mine and it came out great. If you want to do it badly and the cost is not a problem do it. Here is my preserved bo-k
This is what it looked like on my wedding day. I think they did a good job, I love it

Thank you ladies. I'm not sure what I should do. I do really wish I had it though. Shamma, how are you displaying yours in your house? My bouquet was all white roses so I'm not sure how it will turn out.

I think I had like 25 or 30. I could have gone smaller, in hindsight. I brought the florist a picture. She tried to count and came up with that number.
