Yep, we have 2 ferrets, the other one has a back injury so they are permanently loose right now-and I caught him eating with the dog

She is doing better....she made it from the living room to the kitchen! I know not that big of a deal but when she hasnt traveled more then 2 feet from her little home that is like a mile!!! Im soooooo excited. But she has good days and bad days...we will see-only time will tell

Awww that is too cute...i always blame bad dogs on bad owners...although i must admit i am leary of pits...but that is due to a bad experience with one Yours looks like she wouldn't try to eat my dog!

It depends on the type of dog you have She loves all dogs but as she has gotten older she is less patient, she has to be introduced slowly-but then she is totally ok

Did you know that there are little dogs that have lock jaw? most of the owners dont even know it-if their dog locked onto another animal they wouldnt know what to do-ours can actualy unlock her jaw and is trained that way-we tell her open and she does.

You know the sad part-certain breeds can not be mixed with pit. They become nastier and have a higher chance of biting. Most 'pitbull' attacks are not full blooded put bulls or they arent even pitbulls. There are many dogs breeds that look just like them but arent consider and american pitbull terrier.

That dog attack in Cali (way back where they killed that woman in the complex) the media was calling them pitbulls, but they werent-by the time they had fixed the flub no one was paying any attention.

I do agree that bad behavior on a dogs part is due mostly to the owner-you teach the dog to be that way its always that way. Our is a fight breed (her parents are fighters) but the fight breed is NOT bred to fight the way our minds think. They are meant to fight other dogs (like a boxing match) and dont actually kill the dog they are fighting-owners have taken it to far by allowing the dog to actually draw blood and kill another animal. Once that kind of dog tastes blood it no longer is the same animal. Fight bred dogs are not trained to attack people....unless the owner trains them to do that

I hate the cliche that goes along with owning her-people get soooo upset when they pet her and then ask what she is...they freak out like we should hide her away from the world. meanwhile all she wants is attention!!!

Awww...i hate the whole concept of illegal dog fighting & how people can enjoy animals hurting each other...makes me sick..especially when i hear they would use a small dog like my little girl as bait....I think it's important that people remember these are animals...no matter what size, breed, etc...you need to use common sense when approaching ANY animal...hell my little terrier will try and kill you if you come to the house & she doesn't know you...it's so embarassing! haha...but she is also a rescue dog & we beleive she was abused my some of her behavior...but to us she is the sweetest most precious thing...when not trying to kill the mailman...haha.

Now why would someone be scared AFTER petting her??? hahah...that is just dumb...i am glad you are enlightening us!!! I love all animals...many people i could do without!!
