How often

Do you use your china?
Mine is still in boxes, I am dying to use it, but I am waiting until we have a house with a china cabinet.

Hi, Christy! We got a really beautiful china cabinet for the kitchen....but we haven't used it yet. We'll actually use some of it on our anniversary for the first time!

I have 2 sets of china and I have used my older set (Mikasa from the 50's) for the entire holiday season. I haven't taken the Lenox out yet because I don't want to have to repack it all and I don't have as many pieces lol

We didnt even register for it becaiuse we knew we would never use it.

Especially since we still live in an Apt and have noone over

our formal china is still sitting in a huge box in my parent's basement - next to a big box with our everyday china and next to another box with our decorative bowls next to yet another box with our crystal stemware.... and so on and so on

I use it whenever we have company.

Now, how often do I use the 'service pieces' is a whole other story...I have never used the platter, open vegetable bowl or gravy boat

i use mine when we have a special dinner for the two of us, or whenever we have our parents over for dinner.

I didn't buy or register for any formal china. We have our everyday Corelle set and a Lenox dinner collection (which I love!) During the week, because I attend college at night and don't come home until after 10 PM, DH and the kids use the Corelle. On weekends, when I cook, I set the table with the Lenox.

I've only used mine once. Once we get a house and have it in a place where it's easy to reach, I think I'll use it more.

I just got marriend 2 months ago so we haven't used ours yet. I would love to but living in a small apt makes it hard. I guess I will just have to wait until a get a house or atleast a bigger apt.

About once a month. When we stay in on Saturday nights, I serve on our china -carpe diem.
I want to enjoy it and DH likes to use it also.

i used it on valentine's day for the first time and it makes such a difference! the table just looks so much prettier and elegant! i love our china, i want to use it more, but like many other people have said living in an apartment with no room makes that tough

Me too - except a few pieces that I put in our curio

But my hubby wants to eat on them, he thinks its a waste to have them. I'm scared to break them, so I told him for our 1st Anniversary, but that was last May oops I forgot all about eating on them.
