Just curious. It seems like ours runs 24/7 when we are home. I dont really like A/C- when I lived alone, I didnt use it all that often. But DH is always hot, so we run it around the clock. I feel like our electricity bills are going to be astronomical this summer.

only when we go to bed - we only have it in the bedroom. We have a ton of windows so we get a pretty good breeze and with fans its not bad but for sleeping we need the ac.

us too. we live by the ocean so we like to leave the windows open. but dh is always hot also, and i'm always freezing so i usually make him shut it off

We run ours 24/7 until it cools off outside...We are in a second floor apartment and it gets sooooo hot up here!!!

We have an AC in our bedroom and an AC in our living room - except for nights where there's a nice cool breeze, we sleep with the AC every night. That means the bedroom AC is on from about 8pm to 8am. Then the living room AC (which cools the living room, kitchen, foyer, and bathroom ) is also on for quite a few hours in the day, and ocassionally all day long (if it's 85+ degrees, we'll leave it on for our doggie when we leave for work!
I KNOW this month's electric bill is going to be craaaaazy

Before I lived with DH I rarely used the AC-I dont like it. Where as now-its never ever off.........my electric bill is definitely ridiculous bc of this b/c its about 1/2 the amount during the winter

Ours runs 24/7. In the summer DH sets it at 68. We also have 2 central ac units. One for upstairs one for down. Last month the bill was almost 900 freakin dollars.
