Usually about once a month, though in the next 6 weeks I will probably see them5 or 6 times. A lot is happening then, such as DH's birthday, an aunt's birthday, Passover, and their 35th wedding anniversary. They live in Long Island, so they're close by. My father, on the other hand, lives in North Carolina and my mother lives upstate, so I don't see them too often.

About once a month...I think my MIL goes through withdrawal if she doesn't see her baby for a long sit down dinner at least once a month. It's like clockwork!

MIL lives in MA so about once every 6 weeks or so. I see my mom oncce a month and my dad & stepmom once a week.

My in laws live in florida as well so i think we are going to average about 2 times a year.

Well my husband works for his father in the building his parents live in. SO he sees his parents everyday. i probably see them once a week, sometimes every other week, sometimes a few times a week , It all depends on what is going on, holidays, birthdays, etc... We at the moment live with my mother and stepfather so we see them everyday, but we will be moving soon.. but we would probably see my parents a couple times a week as well...when we do move.

we don't live near to either of our parents...so a few times a year for both...

I see my inlaws weekly, because they live close to us.
I wish I saw my parents more often.

We see both sets of parents at least once a week, sometimes more depending on what's going on that week.

for those of you that see family and IL's every week or every other week, what do you do together? dinner and stuff?

We see our families on average every 6 weeks or so - of course depending on what kind of family things are going on at that time it could be more or less. I can't imagine having the time to see them every week or even every other week. The only time I am able to see them is the weekends and that is the only time I have to clean my house, do errands, etc.

We see my IL's about once a week- usually for dinner or something- someone's birthday. Occasionally it could be twice if something is going on like holidays, bdays... we live fairly close to them.

We see my parents almost once a week, if not every other week - we live about an hour away. I wish we saw them more often. I hate being further from my family!

Since she lives in Ireland (as does ALL of Johns family.) We go once a year.
