i use to see them a few times a month, but my MIL and FIL are going through a nasty divorce so i am currently trying to stay away so i dont get in the middle of it.

about once a week, but starting sat it'll be everyday, we're moving into their basement until we close on our house.

I see MIL every couple weeks- and we see my parents about the same- they all live about 45 minutes from us

I try to see them about once every two weeks. DH sees them weekly and then when we both go, twice a week.

ugh way too often DH works 5 mins from his parents home.. so if he is early or has a few minutes, he'll drop by... i wish that he wouldn't because then its like o how come she (me) doesn't come often, bring her blah blah.. and then i tag along and spend weekends there..

same here. we kind of fight about it all the time. because everytime he goes there he wants me to go too, and i like having some alone time!

he's always like, 'its clear you don't want to see my parents' but i like visits that have a start and an end. everytime i go over there we wind up staying for hours and hours and we do nothing but look at each other at the kitchen table.

I voted for other. I have a unique situation, when ever my FIL comes to NY he stays with us, so I end up seeing him once a month and he is usually here for a week - 10 days at a time. His mom is in FLorida and comes up for two months in the summer, so I see a few times when she is up and I talk to her at least once a week.

I dont see MIL that often maybe one a month if that his family just doenst get together often and his dad lives in oregon. But i see my parents at least once a week!
