How often does your DH make dinner??

I just love when DH cooks for me!!! Especially as a surprise. Truth is!! HES soooo much of a better cook then I am! I need some classes!!!

unfortunately NOT often at all but hes not a very good cook anyway lol...he only knows how to make salmon and cut up a salad....thats it. But its okay i really do enjoy cooking for him as long as hes washing the dishes

He knows how to put a pizza in the oven. But I can't complain he does the dishes...ALL THE DISHES I find myself using a heck of alot more pots & pans now

DH burns water--he's not permitted near the stove



i've tried to get him to make a meal for me---and the poor thing has tried--but failed miserably.

he can do breakfast food--like pancakes from a mix or eggs...but that is it. no dinner food.

i'm the cook -- its the puerto rican in me.... my mom raised me that to keep a man happy you must feed him in kitchen and the bedroom.

her saying?

'Ju can't just keep his dicky happy--just have to keeep his estomach happy too'

ugh I hate dishes...Its the worst thing...If it wasnt so unenvironmentaly ( is that a word?) friendly...I would use paper plates my entire life

HMMMM maybe we should hold a cook off or something as our next get together...and we can all bring recipe cards...and maybe you can teach me how to make food lol

My DH cooks about 75% of the time. He works less hours than I do, plus I am in grad school & I go to the gym 3x week after work. He has much more free time. He usually cooks everyday during the week & I will cook on the weekends. I LOVE it cause he is a GREAT cook. I just told him the other day that his cooking one of the reasons I married him.

it's probably about 50/50 here and he's a MUCH better cook than me. i'm just quicker and have some of those italian standards under my belt. but i pretty much stink at cooking anything else and DH is amazing. sometimes the stuff he whips up. . .it's insane how awesome!!

My DH & I spilt the cooking. He cooks 3 nights & I cook the other 3 and we either order in or cook the last meal of the week together.

my dh does all the cooking everynight but sundays, ( we either eat out or eat at our parents)and i love it!! but i hate having to clean up after he cooks cause he is a messy cooker!! but a great cook! i dont ever cook

DH cooks, and yes even bakes, alot of the time...he's great at it and enjoys it. Its a real treat!

I love cooking for him too tho, but need to cook more often..just gets real late when i get home from class.

I used to do most of the cooking, but lately its been DH b/c its hard for me to lift things these days.

He says I make all the *good* things though

All the time-he isn't gourmet but tries to be, He can read a cookbook so he likes cooking for me as I enjoy cooking for him. We're both foodies so pleases us to feed someone else I guess.

i do most of the cooking, but he does his fair share also!! and he is a good cook!

I get to brag a little here, because DH cooks 100% of the time.
I can't make anything, and he doesn't even want me to attempt it. He makes me breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and usually, he does the dishes, too (although he lets them stack up for 1/2 week).
I'm very lucky about this. He's a terrific cook and loves to make new dishes all of the time.

Actually, for my shower, he's the one who registered, because he knew what kitchen utensils he'd need.
