how old were you when you got your

period? any funny stories from the day you first got it?
have you ever had any accidents?

i think i was, oh crap how old was i?? i think 13/14
as for any accidents, thank God not in public.

i was in 6th grade when i got mine. i was in Puerto Rico on a family vacation and went into the bathroom and there it was! Luckily, there was a phone in the bathroom so I called my mom's room and asked for some backup! haha

No public embarassments here.... although a few close calls!

i was 12, and i got it in front of everyone in the lunchroom at junior high! yes, it was as horrible as it sounds. my best friend at the time refused to go to the bathroom with me, another girl went with me and i never spoke to my 'best friend' again.

It was the end of 6th grade and I really had no idea what was going on. Yes I had seen all the videos, but I just didnt know how to tell my mom. I told her and guess what she had no supplies in the house since she was 5 months pregnant with my sister.

I was 11. It was on my trip to Israle to see family. Thank God it was at home. My aunt and my mom made a big deal out of it at the time.

6th grade....nothing funny except I called my dad from the nurses office to tell him my coolie was bleeding he just said to put the nurse on

hmm I was 9
and I didn't know what to do!
I told my mom and she gave me a stayfree and told me to peel off the strip and stick it to my underwear.. stupid me throws out the maxi pad and took the plastic strip and put it on! talk about dumb! so mom ask to show her what I did and all she could do was laugh her azz off. eventually she calmed down to show me the correct way.

it was one week prior to my 13th birthday. I was waiting and waiting....I had read that stupid Judy Bloom book twice...all my friends had their pds already....I wanted mine so badly!
It was June 19th....when I was 12. My 13th bday was July 2
My mom said hers came exactly one week prior to her 13th bday also.

11 when i got it i didnt tell anyone and funny enough i took my cousin's pad and put it on. Then it stopped so I took it off. My cousin took us out to eat and it started up again and my jacket, pants we're all messed up. I was so embaressed...

I got it the summer before the 8th grade... I didn't tell anyone about it (including my mom) for about 6 months.
I was too embarrassed even though most of my friends already had it.

I was in Junior High and I had NO IDEA I got my period... My mom was washing my clothes and saw the spotting on my underwear and told me.. who knew???

I was 14, and felt cramping that morning before school, soooo bad my mother kept me home. I did indeed get my period that day, and every time there was a spot on my pad, I'd change it. I went through 2 packs of Always that day
