How Rude

Don't know why I am posting this but i am in the house waiting and just pissed off and nothing i can do or don't know what to do lol

DH had to meet with the co-op board today, which i dont even know why he has to bc honestly for what he has to do there is no reason but of course if god forbid they have to sign any papers they want to charge an application fee anyways the appointment was at 6:30pm. We also have another appt at 8pm in Long island for an apartment that we saw yesterday and have to go back to meet with the husband. Anyways since the co-op appt was at 6:30 and shouldnt take more than 30 mins, i told the other people in LI that 8pm is fine. Ok well DH text me at 7:30 and told me they havent even started bc they have to wait for this one lady and she is not there yet they called the lady and she said she has to wait for her husband to get home bc her baby is home sleeping and cant leave the baby at home which of course not. But why make the appt at 6:30 if you have NOBODY to watch your kid. I feel so bad too bc dh has been just sitting there waiting for an hour. I just had to call the people in LI to explain the situation and say were going to be late and see if they still want us to come now or rather do it tomorrow, they said to still come tonight. But its close to 8pm and i dont even know now when dh is going to get back. Its not the closest drive either so we might not get to LI until 9pm. I feel bad being an hour late to this other appt.

I am also pissed bc dh got home from work so tired and couldn't even relax bc he had to get dressed and ready to leave and go to the co-op appt and then he gets there only to wait for over an hour doing nothing. Now on top of that we have to drive to LI tonight and dh still hasnt eaten dinner i dont even know when were going to get back home

i hate people

that really stinks!!!! I totally understand why the woman was late..... but you're right....why make an appt for a time you know no one can babysit!!!! it doesn't make sense!!! i hope it all works out..wat a pain in the @$$!!!!!!!

Sorry Denise That is really rude. It amazes me how inconsiderate people can be. You know if the tables were turned they'd be just as pissed so why do it to someone else? Maybe you should call your 2nd appt and tell them you're not sure when you'll be getting out there and find out the latest time you can can show up.

That stinks - sorry about the hassle.

I hate how people have no regard for anyone else in the world. Sorry that you guys are all stressed out tonight. I hope it all works out!

thank you so much. Yeah now i am thinking how much we have to do in the next few weeks luckily we don't have too much furniture to buy but definitely need a new LR set

boards succcck- ours made us wait for over an hour when we did our interview and didnt even excuse themselves or apologize.

yeah i was annoyed bc this wasnt even for like a regular interview, its the co-op we live in now lol and just had to do some paperwork. They know us and everything and not a situation where they are interviewing people to move in, thats why I was even more annoyed.

yeah i am glad its around that area bc its one we at least know. We always go there bc alot of his friends live right there so thats always a bonus. Plus I like that theres lots to do around. We looked in other areas and they were nice and everything but I didnt know anything around and didnt look like there was much around either.
