How Rude

Don't know why I am posting this but i am in the house waiting and just pissed off and nothing i can do or don't know what to do lol

DH had to meet with the co-op board today, which i dont even know why he has to bc honestly for what he has to do there is no reason but of course if god forbid they have to sign any papers they want to charge an application fee anyways the appointment was at 6:30pm. We also have another appt at 8pm in Long island for an apartment that we saw yesterday and have to go back to meet with the husband. Anyways since the co-op appt was at 6:30 and shouldnt take more than 30 mins, i told the other people in LI that 8pm is fine. Ok well DH text me at 7:30 and told me they havent even started bc they have to wait for this one lady and she is not there yet they called the lady and she said she has to wait for her husband to get home bc her baby is home sleeping and cant leave the baby at home which of course not. But why make the appt at 6:30 if you have NOBODY to watch your kid. I feel so bad too bc dh has been just sitting there waiting for an hour. I just had to call the people in LI to explain the situation and say were going to be late and see if they still want us to come now or rather do it tomorrow, they said to still come tonight. But its close to 8pm and i dont even know now when dh is going to get back. Its not the closest drive either so we might not get to LI until 9pm. I feel bad being an hour late to this other appt.

I am also pissed bc dh got home from work so tired and couldn't even relax bc he had to get dressed and ready to leave and go to the co-op appt and then he gets there only to wait for over an hour doing nothing. Now on top of that we have to drive to LI tonight and dh still hasnt eaten dinner i dont even know when were going to get back home

i hate people

thank you. But I have to give the lady an answer today, well actually was supposed to yesterday. She called yesterday to let me know that the tenants are now able to move out by december 1st, we thought it would be by january 1st. Problem now is that the closing i had to have 2 weeks ago, and even had a closing date, they had to ask for an extension bc the co-op board still has to transfer the shares over and we need this at the closing and i guess this takes 2 weeks or more so now the closing is for next week. And problem is the couple wants to do everything RIGHT now and needs an answer right now bc they did have alot of ppl look at the place. But until everything goes through with my apartment we cant do anything. We cant give the money this week, it would have to be next week and if the closing is next friday they might not want to wait. So i am just really upset and frustrated if we lose the apartment just bc of one week so I don't even know what to do right now since i have to call today and give an answer, im trying to figure it out. At this point i am just mad and realize that these things always happen to us. On october 31, we were told the closing date which was first week of november. THEN lawyer realizes they are missing a paper, and had to ask for the extension and all thats needed is one paper. So i thought ok shouldn't take long at all, but no the co-op board takes 2 weeks just to even start the process. I cant even take it anymore with this closing, we started the process at the beginning of this year and we have the worst luck and things keep delaying it. Yeah sorry i am going on and on, i am just upset and can't figure out what to do

Denise, Its possible they will wait for you to close.
You never know, they may not of liked the other people as much who came to look at it.

If you dont get the apartment just remember there are tons of places out there and you will find the one that is best for you. I am sure all the running around back and forth is a lot though. Hang in there!

Yeah they did want us to take the apartment. I called before and explained that until everything is done with our apartment we cant do anything and I really dont want to hold them back and inconvenience them ya know. She asked if by january 1st definitely. So i said listen if someone is willing to take it right now for december 1st then give it to them bc i dont want you to lose out, but if it falls through for whatever reason to call me and let me know. So we'll see what happens. Just right now with this closing being so unpredictable we just don't know. My luck they'll call me now and say oh we forgot something else lol and delay it another week i feel like its never going to come hahaha. And we cant sit here and pay security deposit, 1st months rent, payment on this place and closing costs all in the same week, thats thousands of dollars we would have to pay in just a weeks time and i dont want to do that.

But thank you so much Nicole I do believe everything happens for a reason even though right now you cant see the reason lol. But in my mind i just wonder if we'll find a place in such GREAT condition. The owner has his own home modeling business so he put ALOT of work into it. The floors throughout the place are cherry mohagony, the kitchen is gorgeous with cherry cabinets and bosche stove, double oven, they did the kitchen like a chefs kitchen. 2 walk in closets with organizer, bathroom is all marble and done real nicely with antique vanity sink. But you never know hopefully we find something else we love just as much.
