Re: How rude!

No way would I remain part of that wedding. Some people have no class whatsoever!

Re: How rude!

Oh come on....she must have been joking! That is outrageous - your spouse can't go to the wedding. Insane! What does the groom say about this?

Re: How rude!

It's not a joke, she was serious. The groom says NADA except, 'do you have any idea how much extra invites cost?' to try and justify his moron of a fiances decision.

His brothers aren't married, they are younger, and dating. She just doesn't feel they are together with their girlfriends long enough to warrant an invite for 2 people. As for the others who ARE married and/or seeing someone seriously, she they are just plain out of money and can't afford the extra guests.

If I were engaged/dating/married to any of them, I would lock them in the house that day!

Re: How rude!

I dont think not sending them an invite if they ran out is that big a deal, especially if it's only a few that they need. They're in the wedding party so they know the details and I've never met a man who cared if he had an official invite in his hand or not. But the no guests, even wives part boggles the mind.

I feel sorry for people who cant see past their own selfish plans (especially common with weddings) where they can't even see that they are alienating their family and losing friends over it. Yes it's your big day but that doesnt mean step all over people. I wouldn't participate either.
