How the ef?

So as if I were not cranky enough, I wind up with a severe sinus infection. The ENT Dr said my sinuses are 'full of pus' . Great.

So he s ucks some out (verrrrrrrry nice) , gave me a strong antibiotic (now I'm dizzy, thanks) & sent me on my way but not before telling me 'be sure NOT to blow your nose anymore. You can cause a secondary infection & it'll be even worse.'

Um, WHAT? Don't blow my nose????

How do you expect me to breathe? I am panting out my mouth like a f*cking Bull Mastiff. So annoyed.


Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.


UPDATE - its been about an hour since I took the antibiotic (Levaquin). Holy cr@p. This stuff must be string becuase I haven't been this dizzy since playing the Pass Out Game in 8th grade.

I thought of that. DickheadH uses that & I considered it last night.l But my nose already burns so badly. You know that feeling when you are in the pool & water goes up your nose & burns? That's how I feel just walking around. No pool needed.

OMG Caroline, you know what, my DH got sent to the ER from WORK yesterday, due to the same thing, but he was coughing up BLOOD, and it was coming out of his nose too!!!

It sounds like you both might have the same thing???

Of course he didn't call me until AFTER he got home so now I have 20 questions that he has no response for.
He's telling me the doctor said his 'Sinuses exploded.'


Feel better hon, if you need to be out sick then that's what you must do; sinus infections can be super PAINFUL!!!!

When I was under a lot of stress and run down I used to get a lot of bad sinus infections. My friend told me about a home remedy that always helped me. If you're interested, I'll FM it to you. Try to take care of yourself!

Ughh...i used to get massive sinus infections before i got my septum & insides of my nose fixed! They sell saline solution that you can spray up your nose...that will help clean it out a bit minus the 'water up the nose' sensation...which i hate! Fell better!!!!!!
