So for the past few years we've hosted NYE at our house and had some of our closest friends come over. This year was kind of a bummer because 4 of our friends had to decline at the last minute with some personal issues.
We still had a great time and had a LOT of extra food, somehow I always cook for an army I even made our friend a beer mug b-day cake, but had to text him a photo of it because he wasn't able to make it over
After dinner we broke out a ton of shots and some drunken Wii time. I was feeling the pain this morning from both the booze and the boxing

I have a few pics but they are on my camera, which is across the room ... I am cuddled on the couch with the dog and NOT getting up! I will post tomorrow.
But, we went to our friends' house for our very first adult dinner party!!!! They had 3 other couples over, plus her parents, who were visiting from Sweden. Her mom cooked - oh, so good. Nice people and nice conversation.
DH likes to stay up late, though, and I was ready to leave at 1 but he had to stay until 3 I napped on the couch (along with another girl's DH, separate ends of the couch) and then woke up at 2, when we started to play pictionary. We gave up because we had to keep explaining what certain things were to my friend's swedish parents - certain phrases just don't translate well for people who have never lived in the us, like my friend has for 3 years ... and then I drove us and another couple home.
It was an ok night, nothing fabuous but definitely not bad either.

Looks like fun! I can't find my camera. I set it down at some point last night and have yet to find it. We had a party at our house so I assume it is here somewhere. We had hors d'oeuvres and drinks. Our theme was 'good will fashion show.' Everyone's outfits were great.

Haha-I found it in DH's jacket pocket. I think he took it because I kept taking random pictures of him lol. I am going to post them in a few.
HAHA! That's awesome! We don't have any pics from NYE. We were at IL's with my parents and we played Wii. It was a lot of fun!

my pics are on my camera phone, we have a table top claw machine and we filled it with jello-shots and played a game needless to say we had a lot of shots and was trashed, but we ladies out partied the the men, they crashed after midnight, we were still going strong after 4:30am. I will half to ask dh how to get them on here from my phone.
