How was your Valentine's Day? What did you do?

So ladies how was VDay?

Mine was fun. We woke up, DH made me breakfast and then we decided to do an early dinner dinner bc we hadnt made reservations bc I kept giving him a hard time about where I wanted to go

We ended up going to a fav seafood place of ours and then to a lounge for some drinks..we were home early and watched a movie..it was a lot of fun

I am glad that you had a great time!

We had a really great night. Dh worked during the day. When he got home we had a really nice and quiet dinner at home. I was a little tipsy by the time he got home though..lol I made shrimp appetizers and garlic bread. Then we had prime rib, sauteed spinach and mashed potatoes (basically DH's favorite meal) Then we had dessert. We had a chocolate ganache torte with Vanilla ice cream. After dinner we watched Nights in Rodanthe. Definitely very relaxing and we really enjoyed the night.

DH proposed that we do this again tonight so i think we will. Of course i will change up the menu.

Yea it's really nice. DH works a lot of hours during he week and by the time he gets home some nights i am already sleeping so since i am off tomorrow we figured that we would make it a weekend of spending time alone and enjoying each other.

and then for dinner I made lobster tail, steak, mashed, veggies. And of course HOMEMADE choc. Cheese cake.

well he bought me fire and ice roses which is tradition for him lol it was the roses he bought me our first v-day, and a teddy bear. He cooked me dinner, it was cute he tried out some new stuff and made apps, tried to make it look all trendy too lol. Had a nice night. Monday though we're going to Buddakan for a v-day/bday celebration lol. He wanted to go today on my bday but my mom wanted to do a dinner for me so doing that instead and he made his plans for monday instead. He did get me the coat i really wanted too

He gave me a dozen white roses (my favorite)!! They're beautiful! He slept late and was starving when he woke up so we went to lunch at the Cheesecake Factory. Then at night we went to dinner at Villa. I gave him the fancy chocolate covered strawberries like Karin's DH gave her, so he didn't even want dessert after dinner...we just came home earlier and had them. ;) It was also five months that we've been married.

i had to work and was cranky but DH made reservations at Morton's in Great Neck for 9pm....dinner was great to say the least....and he had flowers delivered to the table for when we got there.......he was so excited that i got him a mirror from BBB that he could shave with in the shower....

So far its been a great weekend. Yesterday we went out to wading river and approved the layout for our wedding album, finally! We'll have it in 4-8 weeks. Then we went to the Olive Garden for lunch. DH has never been to one! We thought the food was ok, but we had fun. Then we went to a salon cuz he wanted to get his hair cut and i got my nails done. And late last night around 10pm we went to a restaurant in the city where dh's friend is the manager. We had an amazing dinner of crab legs and filet mignon! I had a pear tartlet for dessert and it was sooooo good. Today we had brunch at the Grande Luxe Cafe and that was good. So basically we've been stuffing our faces all weekend!

I am always up early, so I cooked french toast, eggs and bacon. DH didn't wake up until after 10, so we had breakfast then. We went to see 'Slumdog Millionaire' in the afternoon (OMG SO GOOD) and then came home. I cooked chicken francaise (my MIL's recipe and its SO good and SO easy) and pasta and we had a nice quiet dinner. After dinner we watched a movie and just had some quality snuggle time

ETA that he got me such a sweet card (AND wrote a note in it) and he got me a $50 gift certificate to my nail place

Happy belated Vday guys! This sounds like my perfect meal YUM...we are actually celebrating tonight with your dinner from last night...lobster, steak, mashed potatoes and some kind of dessert!

DH took us to Foxwoods, he never went. He took the weekend off to spend time together. We went up Fri and came back last night. I really enjoy spending time with him, we have to take time off to have a day together since we work different days. We just relaxed and bed early last night and got to sleep in together today. He also bought me peeps and brought them with him in his luggage and gave it to me yesterday! I didn't get him anything though, we figured the trip up was enough. When the chocolates go on sale, I will get him some. He has so much junk from his surgery and hates flowers. Overall, it has been a really nice weekend.

omg so romantic! DH cooked me dinner..we watched a cute movie and then he decorated our entire room with rose petals and candles including our bed! then we went in the hot tub and what happens after that I'll leave to your imagination!!!!

all your DHs are so romantic. We lucked out ladies!

DH went food shopping for dinner. I baked a cake and we did the crossword together (a daily activity for us) DH cooked dinner and even cleaned up afterward.

He gave me a beautiful necklace to match a pair of earrings I wear all the time.
