Mine was fun. We woke up, DH made me breakfast and then we decided to do an early dinner dinner bc we hadnt made reservations bc I kept giving him a hard time about where I wanted to go
We ended up going to a fav seafood place of ours and then to a lounge for some drinks..we were home early and watched a movie..it was a lot of fun

First we went to see some houses in the morning (none good) and then DH surprised me with tickets to the matinee of Speed the Plow and reservations for an early dinner afterwards (I am in Vegas now on business, had to leave early this AM) He is very sweet
ETA: He also made me french toast for breakfast and gave me a pretty blue topaz pendant and a box of Dots (my fave )

all your DHs are so romantic. We lucked out ladies!
DH went food shopping for dinner. I baked a cake and we did the crossword together (a daily activity for us) DH cooked dinner and even cleaned up afterward.
He gave me a beautiful necklace to match a pair of earrings I wear all the time.

Dh made breakfast then we went to the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens. It was ok-not much there this time of year (still had a nice time walking around).
Then we tried to go to Cheesecake Factory but at 9pm it was a 2 hour wait, so we did take out and then went to midnight bowling.
We had a great day.

We went away with another couple - my parents have a small cabin in the poconos and we went there. On Thursday night, since we left Fri and he didn't want to give the stuff to me on Fri right before we left or on Sat. when we were away, he came home with roses and the scarf/hat set I wanted ... very unexpected (I thought he'd bring it home on Fri.
Sat. morning I cooked breakfast for all of us with a little help from my friend, and then the boys went out and the girls out with my friend's 2.5 year old son. We got food for dinner and went to a candle shop ... and then we got home and I started to feel sick.
The boys cooked, but I didn't eat - I felt like crap - I was in the bathroom a few times and then got really sick in the middle of the night ... sun I felt a little better but still couldn't get off the couch for long without feeling sick again. I'm still in the bathroom a lot but better. dh got sick once last night, as did my dog but my friends and their son are fine!!
it was a good weekend even if I was sick for half of it -- we had a nice time fri night playing games and on sat night we played games too, i just played from the couch (easy with trivial pursuit)

we went out for breakfast and then we saw a movie.....then for dinner we decided to be lazy since after we got back from the movies we were in bed all day so we just got pizza b/c neither one of us felt like going out or doing anything - so we lounged all night.....

Ha ha. It's a CABIN.
I know, I get sick a lot on vacation lately. I have another interview though today so maybe I got it Sat-Sun for a reason (part time job again ...)

We took a drive out to Montauk and had lunch in east hampton. It was nice. Then we cooked some fettuccine alfredo for dinner and hungout.

Ours was great. We picked up DH's gift in Commack in the afternoon. Then we had a car pick us up and brought us to the city for dinner at Brasserie 8.5 and then saw Guys and Dolls.

Since I was very ill at my wedding and was only allowed clear liquids, I didn't get to eat or drink anything. For V Day, DH and I went to the Miller Place Inn (our RH) for dinner and dancing. We had an incredible time and I definitely made up for not eating/drinking at the wedding!!! Then, at the end of the night, I surprised DH by having a car drive us to the bridal suite at the hotel we stayed in the night of our wedding. I made sure to decorate it with a gazillion candles. I even made us the same flavor wedding cake that I never got to eat!! It was one of the best nights that he and I had together. I highly recommend doing something like that at your RH....as dorky as it is....it was really special to be back there. And, ironically, while my gift to DH was a night out and a hotel room, his gift to me was a broadway play and a delux suite at the Waldorf Astoria. Neither of us knew about the others gift. Too Sweet!

During the day we went to look at cars. Then by the time we got home, it was time to get ready to go out. Dh took me to Les Sous? (sp) (one 57th and second) for dinner and then we went to see Phantom of the Opera. I was so excited. I've always wanted to see it!

in the morning, I took a salsa class with one of my friends, when I came home, dh made me breakfast (grilled cheese- his kitchen skills are limited lol)
then we met up with friends at spa castle and had a relaxing night there in the massage pools and saunas- I highly recommend it!

We had a nice day. We made breakfast together. Then he took me to a steak house...yum! No wine this year Godiva chocolate never tasted sooooo goooood! Embarrassed to say I ate it all in three days!

We went from place to place to do some tastings and then we ended up at Osprey's Dominion and did their fondue tasting and bought a bottle of wine and then got a table and listened to the live band. I had planned to cook a nice dinner, but i got really drunk, so DH ordered take out from our favorite place and that was it! it was a really nice day.

fondue tasting????? Seriously??? Thats awesome. Was it a valentines day thing or do they always have that?
