How would you take this comment

At christmas my new Uncle in law (whatever he is called) walked in and immediately goes 'Wow Jen have you lost weight recently?' so I said no I actually have gained weight and he was like 'oh well the last time I saw you was the wedding and all white always makes people look fat'

Very rude if you ask me.

Yeah in my opinion he should have just walked in and said 'Happy Holidays you looked horrible at your wedding'

I thought maybe I was being over sensitive but when he walked away DH turns to me and goes 'well that was rude' and then we both cracked up

Someone said to me the other day when looking at the album I made for my ILs 'so it looks like you lost a lot of weight since the wedding' and I was like 'no, I've gained about 10 lbs' -- she was like, 'oh, I guess it's hard to tell' -- maybe white DOES make people look fat!!!!

It was just the lady at the camera store, but it was too funny!

I have an uncle who seriously always tells me how fine I look and then ogles me in the most inappropriate way... your uncle sounds like a d!ck... but at least he's not shy around you!!!!!

Throw that one in the corner for some time he asks you for something.... then you won't feel bad saying NO!

That's horrible yet kind of funny. Some old people make me laugh with some of the things they say.

Oh and there is NO WAY that you could ever look fat!!!!!!! I never saw you in person but in the pics- you look so slim and perfect!

My mom said to me the other day...you look too skinny are you eating...me: yes mom i eat all the time and actually i've been gaining weight....mom: oh well then maybe you should work out more so funny i was dying!!!!!

Haha yea I did crack up and said sarcastically 'Happy Holidays to you too!' I could care less what he thought! I felt fabulous on my wedding day! Besides he is clueless he says rude stuff all the time and doesnt even realize its rude.

does he wear glasses?

if he does then say..i dont know im the same weight...maybe u need a thicker set

and u can tell him this from me personally...
