I decided to start this thread because my dear Christine seems unhappy. I know you're not too happy with your proofs...but we are our own worst critics. Believe me when I tell you that your pictures look beautiful and you and your DH look so in love and happy! Your pictures were great...and those were only some of the ones posted. No need to be sad, honestly. This picture is just one of many that look great! You two look amazing!

I agree we are our own worse critic in pics, but i am an honest reviewer & yes - your pics are very pretty -i see THE ' purple bo-k just right on the limo....now. how would have thought of that??????

You guys have no idea how much I needed this post- You are all so supportive and understanding when I am just losing it over this and being a big fat baby. What's funny is the picture you just posted was taken by my SIL! I was so grateful she took it since the one the photographer took is a million miles away. I actually did enlarge it and that is the one in my home. Believe me, there are a few good pics so I know I am just being weepy about this. Its just so hard when you see other brides who had the SAME photographer and their pics take your breath away. I just expected and asked for the same. I will get over this and stop being a pain to all of you about this.

I completely understand your dissapointment...you don't get 'do overs'. But I truly loved your pictures and even if a little 'far' I think they look amazing. You and Graham look so happy and they're very natural pictures.
Did they shoot digital at all? If so, call and ask them to give you every shot taken that day...you never know, at the very least it can help ease your doubts.
And your SIL is very talented...plus the quality's great - it looks professional...so yes, thank God she took that one. But there are many other wonderful ones...like the one where you and Graham are in the back of the limo!
I know eventually you'll see what we see...beautiful pictures of your day!

I am working with them right now about 'fixing' what they can. I think they realize there are a lot of shots that just missed or were missed entirely so they are being very patient. I just want one where we actually are looking the same direction so they are working on it.
Thank you again- you really made me feel so much better when I was about to have a melt down about this again!

Christine, I hope they can fix them for you. Its pretty amazing what they can do. I had two made (one more in progress) and they looks pretty good. You can't really tell the group shot was never taken. So sad though how the missed ones of Frank and his Dad and us with his side...I know how you feel. And fixing the photos isn't quite the same, they don't look 100%, but its close.

Thanks Laura- I found a few of us on here and it definately makes me feel less alone on this subject since my DH does not understand why I am upset AT ALL.

Maybe it's the way USMMA is set up, its hard to know where to take pictures till you get there and having the reception and church so close? I don't know. Then again, Christine was married off the campus and Laura (I think) and my photographer had both been there before.
