haha---wait till its a year later......then you REALLY are gonna be cursing the scales!

its totally normal---especially since you guys moved in together for the first time now that you're married. you dont' have to eat out and such to hang -- you can just sit around your apt. and make your own food and chill. thats how DH and i gained weight ourselves.

i've gotta start doing some sit ups---after i had my brownie and reese's peanut butter cup of course

yeah i was watching that new show 'i can make you thin' while eating a cadbury caramel egg. i felt like such an idiot ( but didnt stop eating it )

that is definitely it. teh funny thing is that DH is LOSING weight. His mom didn't cook so all the food I am making is much healthier than the fast food he got used to eating.

As for me, my mom and I would eat VERY plain food usually. Sometimes we would have sauteed zucchini and a hardboiled egg. And that was it. DH thinks its so strange to eat like that so I have to make him chili, stir fry, casseroles etc. He enjoys it so much I love to cook for him but apparently its not so good for me!

i'm right there with you!!! i got married 6 weeks ago, and i'm up about 5 lbs since the wedding!!! we ate to our hearts content on the HM, and it just hasn't stopped. we also started some renovations to our place, so we haven't been going the gym, and that's what's really hurting. all my clothes are tight, and i refuse to buy new clothes just yet. in the past year i'm up 11 lbs - the only bride who GAINED weight before her wedding

It's because we don't have the pressure to fit into our dresses anymore.

I cook every night because of DH, and becaue it is a lot less expensive than going out or ordering in.
Before, I would eat a bowl of cereal for dinner if I didn't have to cook for my dad.

yay good for you!

i cant wait until its nice out i want to start walking. . .

i wanted to do exercise on demand on time warner but DH is always parked in front of the only TV where I would have room to work out!

He will be working more now so i will have more 'me' time to get my behind in gear!

I'm a cliche, too. I gained 10, too (married 5 months). I have taken off 3 lbs...7 more to go.
I'm working out and doing WW. I maintained this week--guess it's better than gaining.

I guess I'm cliche too. I also gained about 10 pounds since my wedding 8 months ago. Trying to workout so I can lose it by the summer!

I tried the excercise on demand the other day. I did so bad because I couldnt find one I liked. They have some good ones on there though. Carmen Electra's stripteases are on there and taebo. Its good stuff if youre not easily distracted.

I am in this boat too. I've lost, gained, re-lost, re-gained, etc etc etc over and over again the same 5-10 lbs since the wedding.

ugggh!! I've been on an eating roller coaster since Thanksgiving!!! I've definitely gained 10 pds!! I started working out in the past week though, I hope I get results fast, I'm an instant gratification kind of chick! all I know is, when it gets warm outside I'll get so depressed if my arse can't fit into last years capri pants!!!
