I am PO...I don;t think my wedding announcment is going to make it

I called Newsday...the woman was RUDE...She couldn't tell me when or if it would be in...just that its first come first serve...AND she refued to tell me if it was even recieved

how long ago did you mail it? it took them about 2 weeks to call me with the date and clarify the info. there's no need for people to be rude to you!

I walked it in and that was over 6 weeks ago

I had major issues with the woman who does this at Newsday also. My DH took over dealing with her for me b/c I had a lot going on at work. He was very persistent and eventually our announcement got in!!!!!!! I'm not sure of all the details of what happened but there was a lot of confusion about whether she had our info, etc. We were not taking NO for an answer from Newsday. I've seen the wedding announcments of many people I grew up with, and most of our friends in there and it was my turn!!! Keep calling.

I would mail another copy Kathleen! You never know, I would think that you would have heard by now. They called me within 2 weeks of me sending it in...

I called them and then they sent the paper work to fill out and it only took 3 weeks and I recieved a call telling me that it would be in the second Sunday of August.

Sorry that your having a difficult time. Seems like everyone has different experiences. But keep on her. You should have it put in the paper. It's a special thing.

I mailed my mine in right before the 3mth deadline. I just got called and it will be in Nov 26th.

Why not get another form and re-submit it. Just in case.

It is never too late! I see all the time bride's who got married more then 3 months ago!!!!

hmmm....i called and left 2 messages. the woman called me back the next day and actually bumped me up since she had me on the phone. then she bumped me up again. she said it can take 6+ weeks to contact you due to demand. she was very nice to me

i would definitely call her, nicely, and just ask to confirm that your info was received. that's awful that she's being so mean

I mailed in the annoucement. My catering hall - VYC - actually provided me with the form. The woman called me labor day weekend to confirm all the information, emailed me a proof, & gave me an exact date. Maybe, call back & try someone else

She did the same for me, she was very nice. Mine got in 2 weeks after I sent it in.
