I am so fed up with my photographer I could cry

Every single time they say something it means crap.

I went to drop off our thank you 4 weeks ago, they said that they would put a rush on it, and we'd have a sample of it sent to us right away. It's been a month already and now they are saying another week. And it's not even the full order of thank you's....JUST ONE STINKING PICTURE!!!!

I AM SO SICK OF THIS!

I'd rather not..I learned my lesson on this site with naming vendors....

My pictures are beautiful...but the service has been questionable to say the least. I just got off the phone with the first REALLY nice person I've spoken to there and she told me what the problem was. The sample didn't come back the way they wanted it cropped, so it was sent back and reordered. I just wish someone would have told me this.

Hmpf - I just want all of this over with!

call them tonight and tell him/her that you are done dealing with sub standard service. you need to get your cards out by monday!!!! this is insane.

I called back a different number and got a different person finally. I had been getting the same person every time I called and he is impossible to deal with. Never gives me a straight answer, never puts me through to anyone, and never wants to help...blowing me off every time.

The person I just got was very sweet, actually got my file and checked into the situation rather than blow me off and tell me next week next week. If I don't have those cards in hand by next Friday I am going to go ballistic.

I am really dreading my album appt.

You'd think by the way they act after the wedding, they were the only photographer in the world.

My photographer the day of the wedding was great, and he took beautiful pictures. He has his own studio now and I WISH I was working directly with him.

I am going to be on the island this weekend, and I'm going to pop in and try and talk to someone directly. I'm tired of this!!

So sorry Misty, you've been having a hell of a time with them.

I don't know, I haven't had problems yet, but I know not to get TOO comfortable.

I had the same problems with a different photog, so I feel your pain. They said I would get my proofs 2 weeks and about a month later I got them. After that it was like oh, only a few weeks and you will have your TY pic and it was almost a month a half as well. They kepy blaming it on the lab, well I dropped off my album because they spelled my name wrong on the cover

right before Memorial Day and once again they said 3 weeks and now it is August 1st and I STILL don't have my album back.....

We were upset with our photographer. I still don't have my album, for starters. Anyway, we wrote a letter complaining and they sent us a gift certificate that we can use in their studio and apologized ... I figured I'd use the credit for framing. Maybe you can try that too! They should give you back something for your troubles.

Thanks ladies. I'm on it this weekend for sure...I'll let you know how it turns out. The only reason why I haven't gone in there yet is that I live so far away from them.....
