I can now officially announce....

That I am NOT pregnant, sheesh


BUT, I do have a new job!!!!!!!! I'm sure a lot of you already inferred that from my posts here and there over the past few weeks, but I just got the official word just now that because I'm not a drug addict or convicted killer I'm good to go!!!!

I'm really excited, but nervous. I'm going to be doing catalog and marketing piece production (so like what I do now, only just that, not amongst 5 other jobs like currently) for the world's largest medical, dental, and veterinary supply distributor, which happens to be located on LI , in the dental division. TBH, we were a little disappointed in the offer initially, and we're considering this more of a lateral move, but there is definitely much better growth potential and opportunity for advancement than where I am now, so it was the right decision. Some negotiation made it more palatable, but marketing will always be the redheaded step child of the business world, so I can't expect any great shakes lol. And I'm back to working 10 minutes from home!!! The commute is sick, granted we won't be in the apartment forever, but it's so ridiculously convenient for now. I'm sad that I won't be so close to my family anymore and won't be able to visit after work now unless I really make a point of it, but I can't let that keep me where I am.

So yay!!!! Now I can officially go out and buy work clothes and want to hang myself finding work shoes that will fit me! I'm a little scared, I've never worked in a 'real company' before, and by that I mean a major corporation, so it's definitely going to be a major change, but I'm so excited!
