i cannot believe this vendor!

my invitation company had the nerveeeeee to email me and ask me to take down a post I wrote about her on BHB....my post was truthful and I was trying to save a bride possible drama and stress

why do vendors think they can conduct poor business and not deal with the repercussions?? if she was a good vendor, professional, courteous and timely then I wouldnt have had to write such post!!

Hope you had enjoyed a great wedding day and my best wishes for a lifetime full of happy years.

It has been sad for me to find your comment about the invitation on the forums of the NYC brides I do not understand it, since I really did my best to serve you, per example, I accepted all the requests that you made to change the guest list and made a proof with many variations to choose and I also sent the two extra ribbons for your friend and for your keepsake. Besides, it is true that some of the boxes were bent in transit, but they were immediately replaced as well as the bows that by error were sent with the rhinestone glued.

I would like to ask you a favor, please delete such comment. It appears on the first place on the Google search results about our company, so it is the first thing that prospective customers are reading (actually I found it by a reference of a bride ) . Needless to say, it is seriously damaging the image I have worked for. To be honest, I did not planed to write you,because I know that I must accept hard critics but it is depressing for me to see it, specially knowing that I did not deserve it.

she fails to leave out that my invitations were delivered almost one month late and damaged...they were delivered WRONG with plastic embellishments on the ribbons that i had to personally remove 100 of them to replace them with my rhinestones
-that she NEVER answered any phone calls
-took at times 2 weeks to respond to an email
i would have to write 2 or 3 or even 4 emails saying hello, i havent heard back from you
and the ribbons she is referring to, came about 2 weeks before my wedding, i was stressed thinking i wouldnt have them...and my girlfriend/BM never got her invite until the day of the wedding because she didnt send the ribbon until 2 weeks before! (my invites had personalized ribbons with the guests names on the box)

what would you do?

I would have done the same thing. My dj didnt like my post own another rating site and I dont know if it is still posted because they argued it thru that site itself.

I think I will edit it slightly to say that she did fix the errors...I feel a little bad that it does come up on the first page of google

exactly this. i had issues w/ a vendor too but brides need to know what happened so that this doesn't happen to them in the future!

You have every right to express your opinion- you paid for their service, and they did not live up the their and your expectations. I wouldn't edit a thing, you were honest about your experience with them.

That's a bit bold of her to send an email.

I had the same issue with one of my vendors I wanted to warn people of what happened to me and it was completely not my fault! I have the paperwork and the eye witnesses to prove it, and I got warned by CS and everything.
It's awful that we cannot post what happens when vendors mess up. I think people have a right to know.

Oh, and the vendor's lawyer sent me a letter too, telling me to 'cease and desist' and what not. What a load of crappola.

They may be able to shut us down on the internet, but I will damn well make sure no friends or family of mind uses these vendors.

Edited because I probably shouldn't say which type of vendor it is because I am sure I'll get flagged for that too even though I didn't use a name.

leave it!!!! the reason people read reviews is to get feedback from actual people who used the vendor.. if this was your experience then thats what people should be allowed to see!

Everybody should know the truth about vendors, especially if it's bad. If I went through something like that I wouldn't want another bride to go through it. What you did was right!

i think you should include that she tried to fix it...however i would leave everything else. the site is here to help other brides and we count honest reviews!
