I can't believe I actually have WR news after nearly 2 years of marriage. lol

Haha--I haven't had anything 'wedding related' in a loooooong time seeing as I'm an old married hag for almost 2 yrs now.

But finally---after all this time--DH and I have decided to do our video and for the first time we viewed the raw footage of our wedding day this past wknd, after we picked it up from our videographer.

In case you're wondering why we waited so long--basically I despise my videography company so much and I HATED that we got suckered into a contract and didn't want to lose money and used them anyway when we cancelled other aspects of our contract. I just KNEW they would do a bad job on the video...so a part of me didn't want to look at it at all. It was cool seeing our wedding day--but as I expected...the video kind of stunk. He got horrible angles -- missed a bunch of stuff -- very choppy movements at times -- or just left the camera sitting there in the same spot for much of the reception.

We're using someone else edit the footage--i'm crossing my fingers that they can work magic--we'll see!

Oh that suckks about your video. Hopefully whoever edits it will make it great! Are you going to add still pictures to it? Maybe that will beef it up?

i gotta meet with the editor and give him the dvd of the raw footage while i wait yet another 2 wks for the actual digital tapes and see what he thinks. we have our images on dvd so maybe i'll ask him to throw some romantics in there or something. i just wanna have a video finally!

Congrats on finally getting started!!! I'm sure the person editing it will work wonders for you! I agree with Jenn, throw in some romatic stills and that will help a lot!!

Congrats and getting the video rolling ( bad pun!).

We just submitted our song choices right before our 1 year anniversary so hopefully we'll have a video some time in the relatively near future as well!

I'm sure it will turn out beautifully!!!! I would love to see it when it's finished! We can order enough 1/2 price apps for 20 people again at Applebees then head over for a video party!
