I feel like Im gonna beat someone up soon LONG VENT
Lately people have really been getting on my nerves and I feel 2 seconds from punching the next person who pisses me off out. Im so tired of RUDE people.
Incident 1: Im pulling out of a parking spot thats right near a red light. I see a car slowly approaching so Im thinking he's letting me out of the spot since its a RED LIGHT anyway. The minute he sees my nose poke out, he speeds up and practically rear ends the car in front of him not to let me go! WHAT THE EFF. I open my window and go 'Hey idiot, the light is red you couldnt let me go?' His response 'Its MY right of way, learn how to drive' I told him people like him are whats wrong with the world.
Incident 2: At the movies with my niece and my little cousin to see HS Musical. Theres a big line waiting to enter the theater and we werent sure if we had to hand in the tickets and then wait on line. My sister goes to speak to someone and the woman working there starts accusing her of cutting the line. My sister goes off on her cause she is very defensive and doesnt like being accused of something ridiculous. The woman finally shuts up but continues to GLARE at us so I tell her 'STOP LOOKING OVER HERE' And I guess that scared her cause she stopped
Incident 3: BB&B waiting on line. Were a little far from the register because if we stood any closer we'd be blocking the aisle for shoppers to walk through. A woman goes to pass and then parks her carriage right on front of us to wait on line. Her daughter (who had to be like 10) sweetly tells her mom she thinks were on line and then DH tels her we were and she gets so fricken rude! Tells us were waiting so far away. I calm myself because the womans daughter is there and refuse to argue with her in front of her own child.
But SERIOUSLY whats wrong with people?? Why does everyone walk around so effin defensive all the time. I feel like Im so close to losing it one day. Sorry for the long vent, I just had to let off some steam.

OMG i would be killing someone too!!! my blood is boiling just thinking about being in any of those situations!! people are so rude and care about no one but them selves!! i find that i am TOO NICE when it comes to things! i let people in front of me at the register all the time. and people being rude at the movies....ohhh i soo would have gone off like your sister did too!! people should not get so defensive untill they see the truth!! if you just take one sec to look at what is going on it may save you some headaches!! and seriously even if she was cutting her in line think about it you are all rushing to the same place how much further ahead is she really gonna get!! geez!!

I totally hear you! At least you have the nerve to snap back at people! I usually hate confrontations and never have the nerve to speak up! It says a lot to me that lately, I am getting snippier and snippier with people b/c I am losing patience with the rudeness! ESP at my job!!!

Seriously!! Ive always been so nice but lately I find myself shooting off. I cant control it anymore. Normally I would have just rolled my eyes and let that idiot driver get away with being an a-hole. But Im tired of holding it in. As far as my sister cutting the line. The woman was an idiot because if she would have stopped and looked she would have seen the rest of her family was on the back of the line including her own daughter. What? My 30 year old sister is SOOOOO EXCITED to see HS musical that she cant even wait for her own family?!!! We ended up complaining to two managers and they were so pissed with her they let us go into the empty theater and get better seats

ya people are so rude! Don't get me started on how people act on the trains and while Im cummuting. Just in general a lot of peopl have a bad vibe about them! DH was in Texas this past weekend and he said it was like adifferent world cus people are just so much nicer. I remember the first time he came to visit my family in Maine how he noticed right away how much friendlier people are there. Its too bad cus NYC is an awesome city to live so close to, but I can't imagine living here forever just cus people are so rude and it throws off bad vibes!

i am SO with you. DH thinks I have anger issues. I think it's being a NYer. my one friend i used to work with just got relocated to pittsburgh and she keeps telling me how NICE everyone is there. SO sad but I was like, that's b/c you are used to NY where everyone is rude and attitudeous!!! [okay i made that word up]
the WORST is the freaking subway. esp the grand central 4,5,6 and ANYWHERE on the E train.

Um if I had a gun with me on the subway, Id be in jail for life.
The main thing I hate is when the doors open and youre trying to get out but everyone bum rushes it to get a seat. I scream 'CAN YOU PEOPLE LET US OFF WHAT THE HELL!!!!' I even scream when Im by myself. People look at me like Im psycho but I dont mind. When you look psycho no one bothers you

oprah said to imagine the people you're angry with in an elevator and shooting them into space. I'm not sure how that helps I wish people that I'm angry with far worse things than an elevator into space.

I find that I often have arguments with people who exhibit that same type of behavior. Sometimes I feel like I'm going to pull a Michael Douglas in Falling Down , where I just start flipping out at the rudeness and / or incompetence of the world and start killing people. This is why I should never be allowed to carry a gun.
When it does happens , I know its time for a nice margarita with extra tequila .

I just cant stand people who are blatantly inconsiderate. Like why do you have to be so effin miserable. And I know misery loves company. In my case it works
