I feel so bad for my friend

My BFF when on her 1st cruise last week. It was a 5 day to Key West and Cozumel. On the evening of the 2nd day she got sick. It was so bad that she went to see the dr onboard.

They quarantined her to her room for the rest of the cruise!!!!

I didnt know that they can do that. I feel so bad for her - she never really got to enjoy the whole cruise.

That sucks!!!! What did she get sick from? I'm guessing it was possibly contagious.

She isnt sure. She spent a few days before the cruise in Florida- she might have caught it there.

Yupp! Germs travel FAST on cruise ships, that's why they make you use their awful antibacterial stuff like 8 times a day.

That sucks though! I can't imagine. Does she get any refund or anything? Deliver food from the restaurants to her room? How will they KNOW if she leaves her room? I'd sneak out. lol!

Yupp! Germs travel FAST on cruise ships, that's why they make you use their awful antibacterial stuff like 8 times a day.

That sucks though! I can't imagine. Does she get any refund or anything? Deliver food from the restaurants to her room? How will they KNOW if she leaves her room? I'd sneak out. lol!

IDK how they would know. They did bring her food but only things like soup, rice, toast. She wont get a refund- it wasnt their fault.

that suck!

it sort of *was* the cruise's fault though ... if it weren't for them, she wouldn't have been quarrantined! she should get at least half her money back! that's ridiculous!

that totally sucks! - ugh i would hope they gave her some money back since they quarantined her... i wonder if there is a stipulation for that?
