I felt left out lol dh's surprise

not a gift but he just called to say that he took an earlier flight and will be home at 7:45 instead of midnight YAY, now i have a dh surprise thread too

the funny part is that before he said what time i said 'OMG when' i thought he was gonna say im here and on my way home lol. But once i asked he said 'why is the house a disaster and you need to clean first' he knows me very well, i was like yeah you would walk right out if you came home now. Well just the BR

And he almost ruined my surprise. He said wow this has been the longest we've been away from eachother and as a joke and an inside joke to myself i said 'yeah maybe you wont even recongize me anymore' and the moment i said that he jumped in and said 'WHY DID YOU DYE YOUR HAIR RED' i played it off and so no idiot i was being sarcastic since you said we havent seen eachother but its only 5 days really, and he sound disappointed and said oh ok.

I bet he can't wait to come home! He may still have an inkling that you did dye your hair, but I am sure he is super excited!!!

i know i am so pissed, i was shocked when he said that. I didnt just come out of nowhere and say 'you might not recognize me anymore' i didnt even say it that way but i was being a wise a** to him saying 'its been 5 whole days' by saying oh wow so long are you sure you'll even recongize me anymore' thats how i said it and i did it with a sarcastic tone. How would he even come up with me dying my hair red, maybe my unpredictability is predictable lol

unfortunately he didnt get to enjoy it fully bc they had 7am-7pm days. But at night they would all go out together for dinner and drinks. He went to a few restaurants there, or maybe it was always the same one and they had a great time.

I know, that stinks. Sometimes it's hard to surprise my DH too.

I hate it when DH also blurts things out and they are true and then I have to play it off. Hopefully he's surprised when he sees you.

he def knows about the site but i dont think he came on. He just knows me, knows i do surprises like this and has been telling me to do my hair red for a while and even said it before he went away. He cant keep ANY secrets ever so he would've said it if he knew
