My interview this past Monday went really well. I met with the other two people who have the same job as me and they are very nice. One is a woman probably a few years younger than me who seems super friendly. I had an offer 3 hours later and after learning about the benefits yesterday, I did a little negotiating and got the offer up another $2K ... still not what I wanted it to be, but pretty good considering A) I've never done this specific job before and B) the economy stinks. The company is growing FAST though so I have no doubt that there are tons of opportunities.
I won't be on here as much, but weekends will mean something again!!!!!

Thank you all! I am very excited ... and also feeling like I need MORE TIME to relax - the last 3 months have been all about finding a job and I haven't really done much besides network and search job boards ...
The job is in Syosset - pretty close to home which is very good. I can still come home for lunch if I want - it's only 15 mins away.
If Linda is still having her pocketbook party on 4/24, that's the end of my first week - and I plan on being there! But a happy hour sounds great too - we should definitely plan a NW happy hour!!!
