I GOT A JOB!!!!!!!

I start Monday!

My interview this past Monday went really well. I met with the other two people who have the same job as me and they are very nice. One is a woman probably a few years younger than me who seems super friendly. I had an offer 3 hours later and after learning about the benefits yesterday, I did a little negotiating and got the offer up another $2K ... still not what I wanted it to be, but pretty good considering A) I've never done this specific job before and B) the economy stinks. The company is growing FAST though so I have no doubt that there are tons of opportunities.

I won't be on here as much, but weekends will mean something again!!!!!

Thanks everyone! I'll be working for a construction management firm and working on their proposals. Writing, coordinating, getting them together. Not what I've done in the past but most of my jobs have included writing and project management, which is essentially what I'll be doing with each proposal. Looking forward to learning more!
