I turned the heat on!! ive been holding off as long as possible but i walked into my apt after being at work this morning and it was FREEZING!!!!!!!
lol if the DH was home he prob wouldnt have let me, but hes not soo yay! nice and warm!!! I dont need 5 layers and a blanket to keep me warm!

Usually buildings in NY turn the heat on after the Oct 15th so your right on time

I live in Bergen County NJ (near Rockland County NY), which is NOT upstate btw. It's probably closer to the city than some of you...anyways. It was snowing here on Thursday. I say it's definitely time for the heat to be on.

There's a high tide due to the new moon. I watched the news today, it's going to be raining heavy. It's been flooding in LI. Maybe this is why it's been so cold in Oct.

Our heat came on automatically this week since we have our thermostat programmed to keep it at 68 when we're home. Since then we've been keeping our wood burning stove cranking. It stays so warm, I love it!
