I am thinking of having Thanksgiving by us this year.
All of DH's famly will be in Florida
So I want to have My Family over. It'll be Nice. Plus the first Holiday in the Apt.

we always go to my parents house for turkey day. our apartment is just too small for hosting turkey day...plus i freaking HATE the stove here-its electric and it takes TWICE as long to cook things in it than i normally would need in a gas stove.
i'm sure i might make something here and bring it to my mom's house or something. but i love having turkey day with my family...as does DH!

we always go to our relatives in either westchester, nj, or brooklyn..... but I insist the week before or after that I make a dinner for our local friends.... many of which don't have family near by.....
an at-home gourmet cannot miss out on turkey-day!

we havent decided yet...we might go to my moms house because its trandition, everyone knows in my family that turkey day we go to Milana's parents house lol she loves hosting that holiday.
Or we might decide to stay in ca and spend it with the in laws. Either way it wont be at our place...im not confident enough to cook a turkey yet

probably at my place...I feel bad becauyse my mom works a lot and she does a lot so if she can just cook the food she is more than welcome to have thanksgiving here and i will clean up afterwards !

i am feeling a bit bold and have offered to have thanksgiving at our place! i am still a very new cook but i am so tired of going back and forth! so it would be dh and i, my parents, brother and his parents....i think i can handle it!

Probably with my family, plans arent in stone yet. For some reason Thanksgiving is the holiday that we go from one house to another to another all day until we cant take it anymore
